Chappy is short for Chappegat. It means beaver in Lenni Lenape. Chappy at one time was its own camp within TMR. Eventually, it became part of Kunatah, the Brooklyn Camp.
I miss the days running down Chappy Hill. I bet everyone else misses running down the hills in their camps....
