Canoes Rock

We used to go on canoe swamps on Rock Lake, we'd all paddle out to the middle and have wars to swamp everyone.  It was so cool.  Our fearless leader, Dave (aka Rodney) swamped Hank. Actually I think he threw him out of the canoe.  Hank went nuts. He was the nutty kid in camp. Every camp had one. All of a sudden Bob the camp director and Paul the waterfront director,  2 nice guys were canoeing along the lake after dinner for recreation and saw our shenanigans. Boy did we get yelled out. I think we were banned from crazy waterfront activities for far too long. But it was worth it.

Lets go canoeing

Ok, some of you asked what happened to Drago after the canoe trip.  He tried to still be tough, but for the most part he failed.  He got laughed at.  Eventually, he just kept to himself and went home.  Those of us on the Hill stayed till the end.  We had Superweek.  No one else did. We went up to Cooperstown to the plaques for the greats, the Iron Horse, the Babe, Mantle, Dimaggio, Yogi and Whitey.

We had several other cool trips.  We did some wargames and other boat swamps.

Canoe Trip II

 Drago, the Bully went down.  He and his boys were in tears because they were dumb to go canoeing without really knowing how to swim.  Drago kept his mouth shut after that day. He was no longer Mr. Tough Guy. Goes to show, you can't beat the hill.
