Sleep Away Camp....

Of course, it was a sleep away camp. It was in Narrowsburg, N.Y. Not far from Monticello. Near the famous El Monaco's and Candy Cone ice cream shop. I bet the 1983 video games and pinball machines are still in the Candy Cone. Not that they worked when we tossed in our quarters.

Yeah, we played pranks. The best was to tie a kids ankles and wrists to their cot while they were asleep and then put a small cup of water on their chest. It will would spill and they'd have to get up and hike to the latrine. But they were tied to their bed. So you know where they went....

That prank is horrible?
Did the boys ever pull any hijinks on you?
Atomic wedgies really hurt.

I remember having lots of bon fires at camp.
One time this kid, we called him Pizz, bet everyone he could jump over the fire.
He burned his sack... clean!
